Ichiban def. Jesus RodriguezThis was an impromptu match made by executive producer Salina de la Renta. Rodriguez was obviously expecting it because he was already dressed in ring gear under his suit. He's largely being comic relief in the past, so it was weird that he had a somewhat competitive match with Ichibn, who is next in line for a shot at the MLW World Middleweight Championship. Rocky Romero and Janai Kai, who were backed by Renta at Slaughterhouse, laid out Ichiban afterward.

Angelico def. MetalikI liked the video package that aired for Angelico beforehand with Angelico addressing Eddie Kingston ahead of their inevitable ROH World Championship clash. It's impossible to take Angelico as a legitimate threat to any title at this point (especially when he has Serpentico, the ultimate enhancement talent, in his corner), but I appreciate the attempt and at least he's doing something significant for a change. This was a well-worked opener.
Xia Li def. Katana ChanceUnfortunately, WWE's women's tag team division being completely neglected at the moment has left Chance and Kayden Carter with nothing to do. Then again, Natalya and Tegan Nox are feuding with the current champs Chelsea Green and Piper Niven and the duo of Thea Hail and Jacy Jane will challenge for the titles on Night 2 of Halloween Havoc, so it's not as if Chance and Carter should be out of the mix completely. Nonetheless, this was fine while it lasted. Li needs wins if she's going to be feuding with Becky Lynch going forward.
AEW World Champion and ROH World Tag Team Champion MJF def. Juice Robinson to Maintain the Dynamite Diamond Ring (Non-Title)The Dynamite Diamond Ring means very little at this point, but I did think Robinson had a chance of winning to add heat to Bullet Club Gold and finally get it off MJF. I don't have an issue with MJF holding onto it, even though it's strange for him to be using it in his matches if he's supposed to be a babyface. They had a good opener. Post-match, MJF accepted Bullet Club Gold's challenge to an eight-man tag team matchup but rejected The Acclaimed and Billy Gunn as his partners. Plus, Kenny Omega vs. MJF for the AEW World Championship was made official for Saturday's Collision, and if MJF wins, he'll break Omega's record as the longest-reigning champ to date. That's an awesome attraction for Collision and I'm stoked because I'll be there in attendance to see it.
