By Graham "GSM" Matthews Becky Lynch def. Summer Rae Anyone who didn't watch Summer during her stint on NXT likely isn't aware of how good of a wrestler she actually is. I wouldn't say she's quite on the level of Lynch, Sasha Banks and the rest of the current crop of women, but she's a fairly talented performer and has been largely wasted in her three years on the main roster. That said, it's matches like this with Lynch that help her showcase her skills. They contested a well-wrestled match and made nice use of the time they were allotted. It's simply a shame we're not seeing these same sort of matches on Raw and SmackDown from them right now. Jack Swagger def. Viktor This was basically a repeat of the match these two had on last week's edition of Superstars. I'm not sure if it was any better or any worse than their previous encounter, but it was rather boring and went a lot longer than it needed to. Swagger can be fun to watch when motivated and when in the ring with the right opponent, but Viktor is beyond one-dimensional. Konnor will be free to return from his suspension this week, so here's hoping this was the last we will see of Viktor as a singles competitor for a while. Apollo Crews def. Bubba Ray Dudley
I appreciated Crews going up against a notable name only days ahead of his match with Sheamus on the Money in the Bank Kickoff show instead of a member of The Social Outcasts or someone of that caliber. Bubba Ray hasn't meant much as of late, but lest we forget he is a former TNA World Heavyweight Champion after all. The match wasn't anything too out of the ordinary, but it was relatively solid and Crews' offense was impressive as usual. A win on Sunday over Sheamus should get his momentum back on track. Overall Show The only match with Money in the Bank implications was the main event between Crews and Bubba Ray, but that's not to say this was a bad show. In fact, it was an enjoyable hour of wrestling bookended by two decent matchups. As noted, Swagger vs. Viktor was mediocre at best, but it didn't drag down this edition of Main Event on the whole.
