Sasha Banks def. Brie Bella
Technically, Banks is still a heel because she certainly acts like one, but there's no doubt that she was the fan favorite in this match against Brie. Her Daniel Bryan-esque taunts mocking Brie were hilarious and while I'm not sure if her intent was to elicit cheers, it might as well have been considering this was another weird heel vs. heel match. I'm not the biggest Brie Bella fan, but she's competent enough in the ring when she has the right opponent and Banks got the best match she could out of her. Them getting the ample amount of time they did didn't hurt, either.
The Wyatt Family def. The Prime Time Players
Isn't this the third week in a row that The Prime Time Players have lost to members of The Wyatt Family? Poor Prime Time Players. I guess the only difference was that Erick Rowan was wrestling and not Luke Harper, which didn't make the match any better. In fact, it was likely worse because Harper is an infinitely better worker than Rowan, but the bout on the whole was fine for what it was and it gave the Wyatts a dominant victory.
Intercontinental Champion Kevin Owens def. Neville (Non-title)
Neville has that role on the roster nowadays where you can put him up against anyone and you know he'll lose but at least you can get a quality match out of him. That was certainly the case here with Owens and Neville producing a pretty fun match with an interesting dynamic of big guy vs. little guy. They could tell a stellar story with that if Neville actually meant something, but it's a shame he currently doesn't. Nevertheless, it's encouraging to see Owens' winning ways continue unlike past Intercontinental Champions. That said, we'll see how long it lasts before WWE makes him a "jobber to the stars" like Neville while he's still in possession of the belt.
This was an above-average edition of Main Event with three well-wrestled and/or significant matches. The women's match was better than most Diva matches you'll see on Raw and SmackDown, the quick squash further established the cohesiveness and dominance of The Wyatt Family, and the main event was highly enjoyable and a pleasant treat. I wouldn't go so far as to say that you must watch this show, but if you have an hour to kill, you won't be wasting your time.
