#AskGSM is a weekly Q&A video where I, Graham "GSM" Matthews answer fan questions from Facebook, Twitter and YouTube in regards to the world of wrestling. Nothing is off limits, and this week’s edition touches upon a variety of topics including:

Flip Gordon def. Karl FredericksGordon returned to action at G1 Supercard last month and looks to be on the road to redemption after falling short of winning the ROH World Championship on last week's big 400th episode. We were told by the commentators that Fredericks is a member of the New Japan Pro Wrestling Dojo and he had an impressive showing, though this was all about Gordon. This was a nice little match that saw Gordon go over in decisive fashion. I'm looking forward to his next feud, as long as it's not with Bully Ray again. Jeff Cobb Called Out ROH World Champion Matt TavenCobb recently lost the ROH World Television Championship to Shane Taylor in a Four Corner Survival match during the War of the Worlds tour, but since Cobb wasn't pinned or submitted, he remains undefeated. He cut a promo about he isn't all that concerned with getting the gold back. Rather, he now has his sights set on becoming ROH World Championship. In typical Taven fashion, Taven agreed to face Cobb, but not on this show. Cobb would be the perfect person to take that title from Taven eventually, but I don't envision that happening any time soon.
Mike Kanellis def. The Brian KendrickKendrick and Kanellis clashed in last week's Fatal 5-Way match. This was a perfectly fine match from them and the wrestling was solid, but I don't blame the crowd one bit for not caring. Wins have been far and few between for Kanellis on 205 Live (and in WWE in general since his 2017 debut), so it was refreshing to see him actually emerge victorious here. It's worth noting that Maria recently tweeted how her and Mike's contracts are expiring in the next few weeks, and it's very possible they leave based off how they've been booked over the past two years. Noam Dar def. Local AthleteThis marked Dar's first appearance on 205 Live since losing to Tony Nese in a No Disqualification match back in February, and he's already back to being a heel. I figured he wasn't coming back to 205 Live and would be exclusive to NXT UK from that point forward, but WWE probably figured they needed him due to how depleted this division is. He's always been skilled in the ring, but he has yet to click with the WWE audience. This quick squash got him back on the right track, but I really have no clue where he goes from here and who he feuds with.
WWE Champion Kofi Kingston def. Kevin Owens (Non-title)I assume this match was designed to definitively blow off their feud considering it likely won't be continuing post-Super ShowDown. Owens' pre-match promo was good, but he didn't say anything we haven't heard before from him. That said, this was another quality encounter between them. They received an ample amount of time and delivered. It was also refreshing for a wrestling show to open with a wrestling match for once. Heavy Machinery Confronted SmackDown Tag Team Champions Daniel Bryan and RowanBryan and Rowan calling SmackDown Live's tag team division a joke could not have been more accurate. There are virtually no other tandems on the blue brand, and while it's cool to see Heavy Machinery stepping up to the plate, they haven't been featured on WWE TV in over a month and a half. I'm looking forward to them eventually challenging for the SmackDown Tag Team Championship, but fans have no reason to take them seriously at the moment.
