Keith Lee def. Dominik DijakovicThis has become one of my favorite feuds in NXT in recent memory. They haven't been given any mic time on television, mind you, but their matches have been excellent. This was another exceptional installment in their ongoing rivalry and was the perfect way to open the hour. They killed it once again and did things guys their size shouldn't be able to. Lee finally picked up the big win he was looking for, but I feel their feud isn't over yet (which makes me very happy). Dakota Kai def. TaynaraI'm really confused as to whether Taynara is supposed to be a babyface or a heel. I guess she's whatever NXT needs her to be based on who she's facing. She's coming along nicely, but obviously, this was all about Kai (as it should have been) to re-establish her as a player in the NXT women's division. She didn't win as quickly as I would have hoped, but that's merely nitpicking. The commentators made mention of how it was Shayna Baszler who put her on the shelf many months ago, so if Candice LeRae doesn't take the title next week (and I don't think she will), Kai would be a perfectly logical contender to the NXT Women's Championship.

Ligero def. Oliver CarterI'm confused, last week NXT UK hyped Carter as being in action on this episode, yet the focus was entirely on Ligero and how this marked his return to the ring after two months away. Don't get me wrong, it's good to see Ligero back, but Carter felt completely overshadowed here. He had a solid showing and the match was well wrestled, but I have no idea why NXT UK wasted time hyping him up if he was going to lose back-to-back bouts. Jordan Devlin Interrupted Tyler BateThe crowd was white hot for Bate, who talked about falling short against WALTER at TakeOver: Cardiff last month and how he isn't finished in NXT UK just yet. I can't say I'm surprised, though it definitely did feel like he was bowing out from the brand after what happened with him and the rest of British Strong Style at the end of the event. At any rate, I love the idea of him feuding with Devlin, who has lacked direction for a while now. Those two should work wonders together.
#AskGSM Edition #304: Who Has The Best Tag Team Division?, IMPACT on AXS TV, The Fiend, More9/25/2019 #AskGSM is a weekly Q&A video where I, Graham "GSM" Matthews, answer fan questions from Facebook, Twitter and YouTube in regards to the world of wrestling. Nothing is off limits, and this week’s edition touches upon a variety of topics including:
Vinny Marseglia def. Beer City BruiserThe Bouncers have been feuding with The Kingdom for months and their bad blood came to a head here, albeit in a one-on-one capacity. They were given a ton of time, but they definitely maximized their minutes and produced a pretty good match. They brought the intensity and the crowd was into the action for the most part. I assume the feud will continue with The Bouncers beating The Kingdom eventually. Lifeblood def. ROH World Six-Man Tag Team Champions Villain Enterprises in an ROH World Tag Team Championship No. 1 Contender's Match(From my Honor for All review...) Mark Haskins and Bandido represented Lifeblood here while Marty Scurll and Brody King represented Villain Enterprises. If you've been keeping up with ROH lately, you'd know that these factions have been embroiled in a heated rivalry this summer and have been producing banger after banger in singles, tag team and six-man tag team competition. Scurll and Bandido killed it against each other at Saturday Night at Center Stage, so I was happy that they were able to rekindle that magic in this outing. Haskins and Bandido made for a tremendous team at Summer Supercard, so it was hardly a shocker that they once again stole the show. Hawkins submitting Scurll for the victory is huge for him and now Lifeblood will challenge for the ROH World Tag Team Championship at Death Before Dishonor.
