AEW World Trios Champions The Acclaimed Addressed Bullet Club GoldI already didn't care about The Acclaimed and Billy Gunn feuding with Bullet Club Gold (despite last week's well-done angle) and The Acclaimed's promos here didn't change my mind in the slightest. I appreciate Rampage starting off with mic work for a change, but this was weak. The Acclaimed are still over with the audience, but their shtick has grown tiresome with me, personally.

Willow Nightingale Saved Mercedes Mone From AEW TBS Champion Julia Hart and Skye BlueI didn't think Mone's promo was anything special (it actually sounded like something you'd hear from her in WWE and I don't mean that as a compliment), but at least she started the show for the second straight week. Hart and Blue attacking her was logical as was Nightingale making the save. All of them can face Mone within the next month or so along with Kris Statlander. So far, so good with as far as Mone's presentation in AEW is concerned.
Roxanne Perez def. Tatum PaxleyThese two brawled before the bell even rang, which made sense considering the bad blood they've built up for each other in the last two months. There was no question who was going over, but I appreciated that Paxley got to score as much offense as she did in what was a competitive contest. She's improved throughout her alliance with Lyra Valkyria and the character work has helped her a lot. Valkyria returned afterward, leading to Ava making her NXT Women's Championship match with Perez official for Stand & Deliver.
Bruiser Bob Interrupted NWA National Champion "Thrillbilly" Silas Mason; The Southern Six (Kerry Morton and Alex Taylor) def. Bob and Devan DixonMason spoke about his dominant run as National champ and putting EC3 on notice when this random dude named Bruiser Bob showed up claiming to be Mason's third cousin or something like that. I know Dixon has history with Mason (that was acknowledged when they had their match a few months ago), but the stuff with Bob was goofy. The impromptu tag match was whatever, but the top takeaway was that Mason officially relinquished his title afterward so he can challenge EC3 for the NWA Worlds Heavyweight Championship soon. I thought the Lucky Seven rule was exclusive to the NWA Television Championship? Oh well, I'm glad Mason is moving up the card.
