When the Bella Twins were brought to the WWE in 2008, they were typical models that were turned into WWE Divas. They were a great act using twin magic to steal victories and used their beauty to get over with the fans. Brie Bella saw singles success by winning the Divas championship for “a cup of coffee” by losing it to Kelly Kelly, 2 months after winning the title. The Bellas left the WWE after WrestleMania in 2012 and returned in 2013. The Bellas were used to promote Total Divas and were put in a feud with The Funkadactyls (Cameron and Naomi who were also on Total Divas).
I started liking Brie Bella when she was involved in her storyline with Stephanie McMahon. Her husband, Daniel Bryan was attacked by Kane due to the Authority punishing him. Brie quit at Payback, which lead to the Authority punishing Nikki Bella since Brie was gone. Brie returned to face Stephanie McMahon at SummerSlam and lost after interference by Nikki Bella. They used the story of Nikki turning on Brie due to the punishment she had received over the time Brie was gone. They had the Bellas feud until Survivor Series with Brie turning heel by kissing AJ Lee and having Nikki beat her for the Divas Championship. They dropped the Bellas feud and have been teaming since.
Brie Bella has become one of my favorites through her feud with Stephanie McMahon and due to the fact she’s the reason my girlfriend (Molly) started watching wrestling. At first, I thought it would be hard to turn her into a wrestling fan but due to the success of Total Divas and her appeal to Brie Bella she has liked wrestling since we started dating. I have always been a fan of the Bellas but preferred Brie over Nikki. Briieeee Mooodeee soothes through my ears and love to see the Bella’s on WWE TV. Since Daniel Bryan is still hurt, Brie should be on TV until he comes back. I know she wants to start a family but with both of them off TV it would be tough.
