Jake Strong def. DragoStrong's matches have largely been squashes up to this point, so it was cool to see him have an actual competitive match for a change. This was fun while it lasted, but I'm sure it could have been better with more time. I just felt the ending was slightly anticlimactic because it came out of nowhere, but the right guy went over. Aerostar came to Drago's aid afterward, so their friendship remains intact. XO Lishus def. Jack Evans in a "No Mas" MatchI really enjoyed the initial outing these two had against each other toward the start of the season and this was very entertaining as well. It was no Mariposa vs. Sexy Star from Season 2, mind you, but they still made great use of the "No Mas" stipulation and had the crowd invested in the action. I also appreciated how the interference from Ivelisse and Joey Ryan didn't take away from it too much. I believe Evans has since left Lucha Underground, so in that case, it made sense for him to do the honors for Lishus on the way out. Matanza Cueto Crashed the Wedding of Johnny Mundo and TayaWho doesn't love a good old fashioned wrestling wedding? It was cool to see Joey Mercury/Wrestling make an appearance as one of Mundo's best men. The whole thing was a blast up until Matanza crashed the party. Then again, that was pretty awesome, too. Matanza spared no one, attacking both men and women, and left carnage in his wake. He actually singled out Taya more than anyone. Poor bride just wanted to celebrate (what should have been) one of the most amazing days of her life. Ricky Mundo, you bastard! Overall ShowThis entire edition of Lucha Underground was built around the wedding, and you already knew it wasn't going to end well. That was part of the appeal, but as noted, I liked all of it, anyway. The first half of the show was solid as well with Strong and Drago contesting a nice opener and Lishus and Evans exceeding expectations with their mini gem of a "No Mas" match. Thus, this episode gets a thumbs-up from yours truly.
