ROH Enforcer Bully Ray Interrupted The Kingdom
I found it hilarious how The Kingdom played up how they believe there is a "conspiracy" against them by Ring of Honor, only for the ROH Enforcer to come out and flat-out say they won't be a part of Supercard of Honor (weren't they originally supposed to vie for the ROH World Six-Man Tag Team Championship?). So, basically, Bully confirmed that there is indeed a conspiracy against them. Speaking of Bully, I like him in this role, but he has already been overexposed and it's only been a few weeks. He needs to stop appearing so often on all of these ROH shows.
Kelly Klein def. Mandy Leon in an ROH Women of Honor Championship Tournament Quarterfinal Match
I haven't been too impressed by Leon's matches in the past, but I thought she fared very well for herself here. As for Klein, for those unfamiliar, the entire Women of Honor division has been built around her in recent years and she has been improved leaps and bounds. This turned out to be a good match with pretty decent time and the right woman going over, though I liked how Leon was protected in defeat.
Adam Page and Marty Scurll def. The Boys
The Boys are the farthest thing from a threat to either Scurll or Page, so I was surprised this lasted as long as it did. That said, I appreciated how Scurll barely took The Boys seriously by simply wrestling in his street clothes. Page did most of the in-ring work, and it was a nice little match. Of course, this was designed to further the feud between Scurll and Dalton Castle going into Supercard of Honor.
ROH World Television Champion Kenny King and Silas Young Brawled
I could have sworn King and Young finished up their feud at the 16th Anniversary Show, especially considering King won clean. Plus, I thought King vs. the returning Austin Aries was the real money match coming out of that event, but perhaps that's being saved for down the road. King and Young haven't had a hot enough feud in my opinion to warrant a Last Man Standing match, but it should be great, nonetheless.
Flip Gordon def. ROH World Six-Man Tag Team Champion Scorpio Sky
Gordon vs. Sky did not feel like a main event-worthy match, at all. I enjoyed this encounter and it was well-wrestled, but it was an odd match to place in this spot. Then again, the post-match angle with The Young Bucks saving Gordon and chasing off So Cal Uncensored was probably why. The match itself was fun and I'm looking forward to that six-man tag team Ladder match that Bullly announced afterward.
Supercard of Honor is next Saturday, meaning there is one episode remaining until the pay-per-view. Despite the brief turnaround time, ROH has done an excellent job of selling viewers on the event and putting together a stacked card to compete with NXT TakeOver: New Orleans. As for this edition of ROH TV, the whole hour was solid and several storylines were furthered, so I'd chalk it up to a success.
