The Brian Kendrick def. Sunil Singh
I'm a fan of Kendrick, but this wasn't a match I needed to see. The Singh Brothers are far better in singles matches than they are on their own, especially since you had to know Sunil wasn't winning. I realize was on the shorter side, but it was still a few minutes longer than it should have been. Expect Akira Tozawa helping Kendrick out against The Singh Brothers to lead to a tag team match between the two tandems eventually.
Gentleman Jack Gallagher def. Devin Justin
Justin was also in action on Raw this week and lost to The Vikings Raiders. As I noted in my Raw review, I've seen him in action at Northeast Wrestling many times in the past, so it was cool to see him on WWE TV twice this week. This was a pretty standard showcase for Gallagher, who appears to be getting back on the right track after losing for so long, but the stuff with Mike Kanellis at ringside somewhat took away from it. I'm fine with what they're doing with him on 205 Live, but his recent Raw appearances have been atrocious.
Oney Lorcan def. Ariya Daivari in an Anything Goes Match
Daivari normally bores me to tears, but this was probably the best match I've ever seen him have and the No Disqualification stipulation played a big part in that. Both guys beat the hell out of each other with every weapon they could find and put forth an excellent effort. My only nitpick was that I wish the crowd was a bit livelier than they were, but otherwise, this was a top-notch main event.
205 Live was the usual solid show on the whole, though not nearly as excellent as last week's episode. I didn't particularly care for the first two matches, but the main event made the show worth watching and was the latest No Disqualification match with the Cruiserweights to deliver. Also, stay tuned for the fantastic video package at the end hyping up Drew Gulak vs. Tony Nese for the WWE Cruiserweight Championship at Extreme Rules.
