Rich Swann def. TJp The last two matches Swann and TJP had were very good and this was no different. Their matchups are always straightforward with no shenanigans, almost like their encounter in the Cruiserweight Classic. Unfortunately, they didn't have a hot crowd, who didn't really seem to care. I hope Swann winning means they're now going their separate ways because they have been paired off together for several month now and could use some fresh opponents. Breezango "Arrested" Drew GulakGulak's PowerPoint presentation gimmick is easily my favorite thing he's done so far in WWE and I hope he keeps it. Breezango showing up on 205 Live was a pleasant surprise and the crowd was happy to see them. I wouldn't doubt that there were those who hated this segment, but I enjoyed the silliness of it and how over-the-top it was. I hope we see more stars from SmackDown Live and Raw show up on the program in the future. Cedric Alexander def. The Brian Kendrick by DisqualificationThese two had a great match against each other on Main Event a few months back, so I was looking forward to a repeat performance here. Sadly, they never reached that next gear before the abrupt finish, but the focus was meant to be on the post-match angle, anyway. Gentleman Jack Gallagher turning heel was a nice swerve, though I'm not sure how I feel about it. Gallagher was one of the few over babyfaces in the Cruiserweight division, yet his heel turn has everyone talking and makes things interesting on 205 Live, so I'm willing to see how it plays out. Overall ShowWith the Mae Young Classic finals taking place right before this, 205 Live was pushed back even later than usual, so I don't blame the crowd one bit for not reacting to most of what happened on this episode. That said, it was one of the more solid shows in recent memory with Swann and TJP contesting an enjoyable match, Breezango making an appearance, and Gallagher turning heel, so at least it was newsworthy for a change.
