In this article, I want to discuss the charismatic-filled developmental territory known as NXT. Over the last five months, we have seen five unique superstars get the call-up to the main roster. Dean Ambrose, Seth Rollins, and Roman Reigns made a shocking debut at Survivor Series this past November, when they sent Ryback through a table. Big E Langston, the current NXT Champion, made his debut in December. Langston’s a big guy and he is Dolph and AJ’s bodyguard. This past January at the annual Royal Rumble event, we saw the first NXT entrant: Bo Dallas. He put up quite the fight, and even eliminated the Intercontinental Champion, Wade Barrett. So now, I am going to name five NXT superstars that should be coming to the main roster this year or next year.
5. Adrian Neville
Formerly known as PAC in the independent circuits, Adrian Neville recently made his debut in NXT. Last month, he teamed with Oliver Grey to defeat Luke Harper and Erick Rowan to become the first-ever NXT Tag Team Champions. He is an extraordinary high-flyer, and it won't be long before we see him with a mid-card title in WWE.
4. Leo Kruger
Kruger is from South Africa. He has trained with Justin Gabriel through out the years. Kruger is a two-time FCW World Champion. He doesn't have a wide wrestling background besides FCW and NXT, but from watching his matches, he will be a proven main event talent one day.
3. Richie Steamboat
Most of you have probably guessed it by now, but Richie is the son of Ricky Steamboat. Richie is a charismatic high-flyer, and there's not a doubt about it. He trained in Japan for a very short time before heading to FCW. He was the second person to win each of FCW's titles: the FCW World title, the tag team titles (with Seth Rollins), and the FCW 15 title. Many believe he will follow in his father's footsteps, and so do I.
2. Kassius Ohno
Formerly known as Chris Hero, this guy has quite the reputation. From Kings of Wrestling, to a short stint in TNA, to Ring of Honor, Hero is now in in WWE under the name Kassius Ohno. Hero was also tag team partners with WWE superstar Antonio Cesaro in the past. Nowadays, you can see Ohno hanging around with Kruger, and arguing with William Regal. Chris Hero has definitely proven himself in all of his wrestling career, and I think he will benefit from WWE and succeed in WWE.
1. Bray Wyatt
Bray Wyatt has been on the main roster already under the name Husky Harris. He was on NXT Season 2, and was apart of the Nexus. After being punted by Randy Orton in 2011, he went back to developmental for a modification in character. Currently in NXT, he has a red-neck/hobo type character, and he has Erick Rowan and Luke Harper following him around. Many IWC members are fans of him, and are anticipating his re-debut on the main roster.
I hope you enjoyed reading my article. Some others that I didn't mention that could be coming soon include Connor O'Brian, Luke Harper, and Corey Graves.
Since this is my first time writing, let me know what you think WWE Universe!
