WWE announced earlier today via their official website that Ricardo Rodriguez has been suspended for 30 days for violating the WWE Wellness Policy. Here is their official statement:
"STAMFORD, Conn. – In accordance with its Talent Wellness Program, WWE has suspended Jesús Rodríguez (Ricardo Rodriguez) for 30 days effective immediately for his first violation of the company’s policy."
Rodriguez was written out of storylines last week on Friday Night SmackDown, where he was sent spiraling through a table at the hands of Dolph Ziggler and was subsequently on the receiving end of a guitar shot to the head. He worked live events over the weekend, but was no present at this week's Monday Night Raw. Of course, due to his suspension, Rodriguez will not be in Alberto Del Rio's corner for his World Heavyweight Championship match at the Money in the Bank pay-per-view later this month.
