Dana Brooke def. Tamina
Dana Brooke vs. Tamina is what nightmares are made of, at least on paper. To be fair, this wasn't nearly as atrocious as I feared it would be. Neither of these ladies are all that good in the ring, but they managed to keep it fairly basic here. That said, it was just very, very boring. It was made clear on the post-WrestleMania Raw that WWE apparently has plans to push Brooke, which I personally have no interest in seeing.
Heavy Machinery def. The B-Team
The B-Team haven't done much for me since... well, ever, but I thought they fared well for themselves here. I'm very entertained by Heavy Machinery and they kept the crowd engaged for most of this match. It was a nice little bout between two babyface teams with the right tandem going over. Here's hoping Heavy Machinery will receive more television time going forward now that they're officially on SmackDown Live coming out of the Superstar Shake-up.
This episode marked the commentary debut of Sam Roberts, who I thought did a decent job. He didn't sound much different than the rest of the WWE-produced goofs, but he might end up being more bearable to listen to on this show than Percy Watson was. Maybe. Meanwhile, this week's two featured matches were nothing to write home about. Brooke vs. Tamina can absolutely be skipped over, but at least Heavy Machinery vs. The B-Team had some fun moments.
