Dana Brooke def. Sarah Logan
I was beginning to appreciate WWE not going back to this bout so soon after their series of matches earlier this summer, but apparently they just couldn't help themselves. Their matches continue to be solid (and I commend Brooke for the progress she's made in the ring this year), but they all blend together, especially because we've seen so many of them. I legitimately thought I was watching a rerun of Main Event at one point. Would putting Logan with The Viking Raiders to make them more interesting be too much to ask of WWE?
The Revival def. Zack Ryder and Curt Hawkins
I've always liked the chemistry these two teams have as they never cease to produce fun matches together. Even though there wasn't anything on the line here, I enjoyed this encounter as much as their match at WrestleMania 35. They keep a consistent pace, and although it's similar to Brooke and Logan in that they've faced each other a ton in 2019, at least they manage to switch things up every now and again. It's sad that it took all of two weeks for The Revival to return to Main Event duty after losing the Raw Tag Team Championship.
If you've seen one match between Brooke and Logan, you've seen them all, so I think their latest encounter can easily be skipped over. Revival vs. Ryder and Hawkins is also much of the same, but personally, I was entertained by their bout for as long as it lasted. This was a slightly more bearable edition of Main Event than usual yet nothing you need to see. If anything, feel free to check out the hype for Sunday's SummerSlam pay-per-view from this show if you haven't been keeping up with Raw and SmackDown Live lately.
