Cesaro and Tyson Kidd def. Los Matadores
It appears the team of Cesaro and Kidd is here to stay if they're synchronized entrance video is any indication. Neither guy is doing anything else of note at the time, so I'm in favor of this for now. They're an excellent addition to a tag team division that desperately needs all the help it can get. They work well together and that was evident in this match. I enjoyed Cesaro and Kidd's match with Los Matadores more than this matchup, but it was still fun while it lasted.
Brie Bella def. Summer Rae
I've complained enough about Brie having yet to explain her actions as to why she and her sister Nikki are back on good terms, but this was just ridiculous. She faced a babyface Natalya on Monday's Raw, yet faced a heel Summer on this show. The crowd cheered Brie over Summer, but only because they didn't have any incentive to cheer for Summer. In other words, it was an awkward match that was rather meaningless considering neither of them are in the title picture at the moment.
Big E def. Stardust
Wait, this feud is still going? You have to be kidding me. I've said this before and I'll say it again: I like everyone individually in The New Day stable. I just don't like the stable as a whole, and based off the reactions they're getting from crowds, it looks like I'm not the only one. On a side note, I can't remember the last time Stardust ever won a singles match, so his singles matches are always predictable.
Luke Harper def. Jack Swagger
I like Swagger and all, but did WWE really expect fans to take Swagger seriously in this match one night removed from a squash loss to Fandango on Raw? This would have been a mismatch a few weeks ago, much less this week where Swagger was already made out to be an enhancement talent. That said, it baffled me why the match went as long as it did. It wasn't bad whatsoever, but it was painfully boring, especially since you knew Harper was going over. It was solid for what it was, but of all the matches that could've gotten more time, this shouldn't have been it.
As much as I enjoyed the holiday Raw this week, this show was the exact opposite in that it felt like WWE didn't put forth much effort at all. Granted, it's rare nowadays they deliver a strong edition of Main Event, but this was a forgettable show at best. The tag match was fun, but the subsequent matches were wastes of time. Don't feel compelled to watch this episode back because you didn't miss much, and by that I mean you didn't miss anything at all.
