Natalya def. Lacey Evans
Evans debuted with a bit of a bang ahead of the Royal Rumble on Raw and then had a strong showing in the women's Rumble only to not be featured on WWE TV since. She'll benefit from working with Natalya given her experience, but I wasn't thrilled that she lost. I realize it's Main Event and it doesn't matter much at all, but there's no value in Natalya beating someone who is on the rise such as Evans. Nevertheless, this was a good match for what it was.
No Way Jose def. Tyler Breeze
I don't know him personally, but Breeze looks like he just doesn't care anymore every time I see him in action. He can still be counted on for a quality performance, but this was nothing out of the ordinary, and the babyface vs. babyface dynamic didn't give the crowd any incentive to cheer for one guy over the other. To their credit, though, they picked up the pace in the final few minutes and put together a nice little match.
Raw and SmackDown Live didn't offer too much of note in my opinion this week, so the replays that aired on this edition of Main Event aren't worth watching again in my opinion. Meanwhile, Natalya vs. Evans felt fresh, and although I disagreed with the outcome, it was a chance for those who aren't overly familiar with her to see what she's capable of in the ring. Jose vs. Breeze, on the other hand, was a bit better than I expected it to be but hardly memorable.
