Zack Ryder and No Way Jose def. Curt Hawkins and Tyler Breeze
While Hawkins and Breeze were certainly an oddball tandem, I thought Ryder and Jose had nice chemistry together. As is usually the case with any Hawkins match, the outcome was never in doubt, but I enjoyed the action for as long as this lasted for. There wasn't any real suspense or sense of urgency throughout the bout, mind you, but I liked that the guys went out there seemingly wanting to have fun and accomplished that
Mickie James and Alicia Fox def. Dana Brooke and Ember Moon
Correct me if I'm wrong but wasn't Brooke aligned with James and Fox not too long ago? I could have sworn she was a heel, but apparently not. Then again, it's not like anyone really cares, anyway. Although they weren't amazing on the whole, Raw and SmackDown Live both had their fair share of highlights this past week, and the Fatal 4-Way match from Raw is especially worth checking out if you haven't already seen it. As for the featured matches on this week's edition of Main Event, neither of them were particularly must-see, yet they were fine for what they were and didn't overstay their welcome, so I have no complaints.
