EC3 def. No Way Jose
As seen last week, EC3 has started to incorporate the fact that he's "downtrodden" (as Byron Saxton said on commentary) into his entrance, which is both amazing and terribly sad. In fact, Saxton noted that EC3 hasn't won a match on Main Event since beating No Way Jose in late April. This was another fairly basic bout between the two, but at least the crowd wasn't completely quiet. EC3 finally won, but I can't say it means much considering who it was against. He's quickly reaching Mike Kanellis territory and that's not a good place to be in.
Dana Brooke and Natalya def. Tamina and Sarah Logan
Yes, Logan is still coming out to the Riott Squad entrance music even though the group split up two months ago. I actually don't think I've seen her on WWE TV or on Main Event since then. At any rate, this was a really random match, as Natalya and Brooke were having issues earlier this year while Tamina and Logan have never teamed before. To their credit, they made the most of it and produced a passable contest, but it was hardly anything you need to go out of your way to see. To her credit, the finish with Brooke hitting a Swanton of sorts on Tamina was well done. It's just funny that she can never seem to win when it matters most on Raw.
With WWE programming being as abysmal as it is at the moment, I can not honestly recommend watching this show, as no one in their right mind should have to suffer through it. Granted, the matches aren't always bad (both bouts this week were well-wrestled and inoffensive), but they aren't anything out of the ordinary, and it doesn't help that the SmackDown Live and Raw replays are completely skippable.
