Heath Slater def. Curt HawkinsSlater and Hawkins are probably two of the biggest "losers" on the Raw roster, but they're also entertaining and had fun here. This was far from an instant classic, of course, but the crowd enjoyed it for what it was. Hawkins' losing streak continues. It's a shame Slater and Rhyno aren't on Raw more often after they did so much to get themselves over on SmackDown Live last year, though. Gran Metalik def. Tony NeseOur obligatory Cruiserweight match on Main Event this week was a treat as Metalik was able to showcase his skills for a change against Nese. And as I've said before, Nese is a talented performer, but his lack of personality causes me to not care about him. This was a well-wrestled match while it lasted and Metalik scored the win, but I wish he would have a bigger role in the Cruiserweight division considering he's one of the best wrestlers in the world. Overall ShowAfter a solid string of shows from Main Event, we were back to the basics with this edition. Nothing about the episode stood out as special whatsoever, and even the Raw recaps were lame other than Triple H's return. Both bouts on this show were average, but they aren't anything you likely haven't seen before and thus aren't worth seeking out by any means.
