Ember Moon def. Alicia FoxSometimes I forget Fox is on the roster, and when I realize that she's still employed, I wonder why. I'm sure she's a great girl, but she hasn't served much of a purpose for several years. She also isn't that very good in the ring and isn't interesting as a character, but thankfully, Moon was able to get a somewhat decent match out of her here, even if Fox's rest hold on Moon lasted longer than it needed to. It's a shame that Moon only seems to win on Main Event these days and never on Raw. What a waste. Apollo Crews def. Jinder MahalThese two originally clashed earlier this month on Raw in a match that was won by Crews. That seemingly marked the beginning of Crews' renewed push as a singles star, but I don't think he's been featured on the program since. Nevertheless, this was a well-wrestled bout with a nice pace thanks to Crews' fun offense. The crowd couldn't have cared less about a majority of this match, but at least they came alive for the final stretch or so. Overall ShowAs you could probably expect, this edition of Main Event largely focuses on the fallout from Survivor Series, and both Raw and SmackDown Live this week were fairly forgettable. The replay of the heel Daniel Bryan promo from Tuesday was cool, but that's about it. The two featured matches were average at best and aren't worth going out of your way to see, to say the least.
