The IIconics def. Dana Brooke and Sarah LoganI was busy getting food at the arena during the first half of this match, so I decided to watch it back on Hulu to see if I missed anything. Clearly, I did not. This marked The IIconics' return to the ring after about a month as Peyton Royce took time off to get married to Shawn Spears (f.k.a. Tye Dillinger). Brooke and Logan spent the entire summer feuding with each other, and although their matches never got any better, the two teaming up was a nice change of pace. This was a fairly mediocre match, but at least it wasn't terrible. R-Truth and Enes Kanter Exchanged the 24/7 ChampionshipThis might have been the most notable thing to happen on Main Event forever. I'm actually surprised it aired on the show, as I figured it would end up being an exclusive video on WWE.com and WWE's YouTube channel. Apparently not. It was a dumb but fun segment with Kanter turning on Truth to capture the title and revealing he was wearing a Boston Celtics jersey the entire time, only to lose the belt back to Truth seconds later. The crowd ate it up, if nothing else. Overall ShowAll things considered, this was a pretty newsworthy show, at least by Main Event standards. The 24/7 title changed hands twice (whatever the hell that means), Enes Kanter appeared, The IIconics returned to action, and Dio Madden made his commentary debut (he was first shown on 205 Live but this was taped before that). Throw in the fact that it emanated from Madison Square Garden and you have yourself an above-average edition of Main Event, even though it offered nothing in the way of quality wrestling.
