Titus O'Neil and Heath Slater def. Eric Young and Mojo Rawley
Slater Gator are back at it again, reuniting for another meaningless match for two Superstars fans couldn't care less about. Seriously, this was almost embarrassing to watch, and you could tell everybody but O'Neil (who does a lot of charity work for WWE) didn't want to be there. This bout was as basic and as lifeless as it gets with the babyfaces predictably going over.
Cesaro def. Zack Ryder
Cesaro is basically wearing pants now for his gear. Either that or he was asked to wrestle while he was in catering and had to rush to the ring. I was pleasantly surprised by how competitive this was, so props to Cesaro and Ryder for putting together a nice little match. Of course, the outcome was never in doubt, but Cesaro having to cheat to beat Ryder of all people made no sense. Cesaro needs this Draft in the worst way, and honestly, he might be better off in NXT or NXT UK at this point.
Congrats to Vic Joseph and Dio Madden, who are being promoted to the Raw commentary team starting next week. More importantly, they are escaping the hell hole that is Main Event. I guess WWE could continue to have them call the action here as well, but that would be cruel punishment. Instead, I'd rather see WWE get rid of this show once and for all, but i doubt they will. It hasn't served a purpose in years, and with WWE set to air a show every day of the week, Main Event doesn't fit into that schedule anywhere and should be put to rest at long last. As for this episode, it was mediocre as always, though Cesaro and Ryder at least tried with their match. Oh, and Mickie James wasn't really anything special on commentary.
