Big Show def. The Social Outcasts in a 2-on-1 Handicap Match
Ah, who doesn't love Big Show burying younger talent? Calm down, those aren't my actual thoughts on this match, I was simply channeling my inner IWC. The Social Outcasts are meant to be enhancement talent, no matter how entertaining they are, so if there was anyone Big Show should squash in a matter of minutes, it was them. The bout was basically a showcase for Show, though I was slightly disappointed The Social Outcasts weren't given as much creative freedom to do what they wanted as they usually are. Perhaps Adam Rose's recent suspension had something to do with that?
United States Champion Kalisto def. Tyler Breeze (Non-title)
A friend of mine pitched to me a month or so the idea of Breeze targeting Kalisto because he hides behind a mask and Breeze would want to represent the United States the right way as its champion. That's absolutely brilliant! Which is why WWE would never do anything remotely like it. At the very least, their matches are always enjoyable and this encounter was no exception. I like how Kalisto is starting to get creative by hitting Salida del Sol seemingly out of nowhere as he did here.
This was an above-average edition of Superstars, if only for the electric English audience that enhanced my enjoyment of both bouts. In front of any other crowd, I probably wouldn't have liked the show as much, but the two matches were relatively fun. I wouldn't recommend going out of your way to watch the show, but if you're in a good mood like I am and have some time to kill, you wouldn't be wasting it.
