![]() By Graham "GSM" Matthews Natalya def. Alicia Fox Despite being associated with the babyface (?) Brie Bella as of late, Fox was a heel in this match. I'll spare you the rant because I don't want to come off like a broken record at this point; it's just irritating that her character has never been clearly defined. On the bright side, at least she was a full-fledged heel in this match and did a great job of eliciting heat from the audience, and honestly, that's the role that suits her best. Natalya has been largely absent from WWE TV as of late, but I hope it's only a matter of time before she resurfaces as a prominent figure in the division. She has too much talent that shouldn't go to waste. Jack Swagger def. Fandango This is the first time in a long while that we actually had storyline consistency on Superstars and I can't tell you how happy I was to see it. If you watched last week's episode, you'd know Swagger and Fandango randomly teamed up and tension was teased between the two with Fandango coming off like a heel. Thus, it was encouraging for Fandango to be the heel in this bout and allow the crowd to rally behind Swagger. As for the match itself, it was well-wrestled as expected given they're both very good workers. Overall Show
Although I wasn't too excited for this show on paper, it ended up exceeding my expectations. The women's match was more fun than I figured it would be with Fox actually outshining Natalya. The subsequent matchup between Fandango and Swagger was a surprisingly pleasant treat as well with the crowd more engaged in the action than they are most weeks for Superstars.
