![]() By Graham "GSM" Matthews Jack Swagger def. Fandango Uh, okay then? Both of these guys are babyfaces, or at least supposed to be babyfaces, so I was confused by the character dynamic here. Then again, they might have just wanted to switch it up because they've done Swagger vs. Bo Dallas and Adam Rose a million times before. In that case, I appreciate them giving us something different for a change. If I had to guess, Fandango was the intended heel here, but he didn't make it that clear. At any rate, they had a well-wrestled match with a nice finishing sequence. I don't expect to see either guy in the Royal Rumble match, but this was a fine outing from them. Dolph Ziggler def. The Miz It's somewhat sad when you think about it that these two Ohio natives were relegated to working Superstars instead of wrestling on Raw in (on near?) their hometown. By the way, why is WWE still billing Ziggler from Hollywood, Florida? I thought they had changed that by now. As expected, they had a pretty entertaining match, especially by Superstars standards. They've always had great chemistry and are almost incapable of having a bad match together, so this was no exception. Overall Show
As a pre-Royal Rumble edition of Superstars, this was an enjoyable episode. Swagger vs. Fandango was slightly confusing, but from an in-ring standpoint, they produced a solid match. Ziggler and Miz can always be counted on for a quality performance and it was a treat for them to wrestle each other on this show in their home state. I'd check their match out and skip everything else.
