Naomi def. Cameron
These random matches never do anyone any favors, but the fact these two have history made it a bit more meaningful. They haven't feuded in forever, but at least their past issues added to the match. It was one of the better bouts these two have had, but still not great. At the very least, Naomi tried her best to carry Cameron to a passable match, so there was that. Naomi deserves so much better right now and I'm hoping she gets back into the Divas Championship picture before long.
Fandango def. Sin Cara
Oh great, a match involving two people no one could care less about right now. Is Sin Cara really the same guy who beat the Intercontinental Champion Bad News Barrett and faced him in a title match last week? And now he's losing to Fandango? This company really has no consistency, and it annoys me to no end. The match was fine for what it was, but the crowd was dead silent because they just wanted it to be over with like the rest of us.
I don't look at Superstars as a show that should be hyping the Royal Rumble, but you think more focus would have been on the pay-per-view. The Divas match essentially served no purpose and Fandango vs. Sin Cara also felt like a waste of time. I believe both of them will be in the Rumble match, but the commentators didn't spend much time talking about that at all. Both matches on this show were decent, but it was a forgettable show on the whole that didn't feature anything of consequence.
