![]() By Graham "GSM" Matthews Tyler Breeze def. Jack Swagger It really is sad that Breeze has been a part of the main roster for less than three months and he's already a regular on WWE Superstars. As a regular viewer of the show, it's a treat, sure, but it's definitely more of a demotion for him than it is a case of WWE adding star power to the program. As expected, Swagger has immediately reverted back to lower-midcard purgatory coming off his feud with Alberto Del Rio. They worked well together and had a good match in the time they were allotted, but it never seemed to find its stride before abruptly ending. R-Truth and Goldust def. The Ascension There is nothing about the team of Truth and Goldust that intrigues me whatsoever. If this is all WWE has in mind for Goldust now that he's back from injury, he might as well retire. It's better than him being utilized as a jobber for the rest of his career. Similar to the previous match, this was fine for what it was, but the finish felt like it came out of nowhere. I wouldn't have had the regular tag team take the loss, but this is Superstars after all, so it's not as if it matters. Overall Show
If nothing else, I appreciated WWE switching up the tired formula of Superstars and giving us two fresh matches instead. That said, neither of them were exactly exciting and they were over fairly quickly, so I wouldn't suggest checking them out unless you don't have anything better to do. At the very least, it gives you an excuse to relive the highlights of Monday's great edition of Raw.
