![]() By Graham "GSM" Matthews The Ascension def. The Mega Powers It's been a little over a month and the Mega Powers shtick has already grown tiresome with this viewer. Curtis Axel and Damien Sandow do well in their respective roles, but perhaps it wouldn't be as depressing to watch if Sandow didn't have so much wasted potential. On a lighter note, The Ascension have improved their in-ring game a bit in some of their recent matches by not relying as much on rest holds as they usually do, so there was that. Other than that, though, it was the same match we've seen from them before and the decision to have The Ascension go over yet again goes to show how little WWE thinks of the babyface tandem. Adam Rose def. Fandango On the subject of matches we've seen a million times over, I couldn't have cared less about this match. Fandango would be a fine face if he wasn't such a one-dimensional character, and Rose is just terrible. I, among many others, was rooting for him coming out of that stellar E:60 special two months ago, but needless to say, WWE has completely dropped the ball on repackaging him since then. Pairing him with Rosa has been an atrocious idea because they have next to nothing onscreen chemistry with each other, hence why the silence from the crowd during this bout didn't surprise me from the slightest. Overall Show
If you couldn't already tell, a show featuring two matches that have been done to death isn't worth your time. The tag team match was passable, but nothing different from what we've seen from them before. Rose vs. Fandango was beyond dead and felt like a total waste of time. The Raw recaps were decent, but they don't make this edition of Superstars worthwhile by any stretch.
