Cesaro def. Bo Dallas
When Cesaro was regularly wrestling on Superstars in late 2015, I was complaining WWE wasn't doing more with him. That isn't the case now that he's chasing the Intercontinental Championship and rather his one-off appearance on the program this week was a pleasant surprise for viewers of the program such as myself. Additionally, he had a fantastic foil in Dallas. I assumed the match would be relatively brief, but I was happy they dragged it out a bit and had a fun little match the crowd was engaged in. With Heath Slater apparently taking time off and Adam Rose dealing with his own issues, The Social Outcasts are dwindling in numbers. I would say add Damien Sandow to the group, but he's gone, too!
Apollo Crews def. Stardust
Another week where Crews is wrestling on Superstars and not Raw or SmackDown. If you weren't already aware, WWE has absolutely zero clue how to handle him right now, which is a shame given his unlimited potential. On the bright side, he worked against a fellow great wrestler in Stardust and they contested a very well-wrestled match that was better than both of their bouts from a few weeks back. Another entertaining performance, but please, WWE, give this guy some direction already.
Crews in action on the show this week wasn't too much of a shocker, but he had a very good match with Stardust that you'll enjoy. Cesaro's appearance, on the other hand, was slightly shocking, but in a good way. I'm not worried about WWE not having anything for him because he'll be contending for the Intercontinental Championship at Extreme Rules next Sunday. An above-average edition of Superstars this week that is worth watching if you have some time to kill.
