Neville def. Titus O'Neil
It continues to pain me to see Neville doing nothing of note while he could be a part of the Cruiserweight division. He and O'Neil have had matches against each other before, and they're just that: matches. Nothing too good, nothing too bad. They tell something of a story with their size difference, but that's about it. Neville is simply spinning his wheels right now while O'Neil is equally directionless, so this was a nothing match.
Bo Dallas def. Darren Young
Bob Backlund was conspicuous by his absence at ringside, and it was never explained why he wasn't there. A "We Want Backlund!" chant actually broke out early on, which was funny. Thus, Young had no chance of winning the audience over from the get-go because the United Kingdom has always has a weird affinity for Dallas. The match lasted longer than it should have, though, because the crowd sat on their hands for a majority of the matchup other than when Dallas held up his stupid sign.
The nice thing about WWE holding their television tapings overseas is that the energetic crowds can usually make any mediocre edition of WWE Superstars a bit more bearable. That wasn't exactly the case with this show, however, as Neville vs. O'Neil was merely a repeat of what we've seen before from them and Dallas vs. Young was beyond boring. An easy "recommendation to avoid" this week for Superstars.
