Summer Rae def. Emma
As seen from their work in NXT last year, these two are capable of great matches together, but they worked a decent enough matchup here with the time they were allotted. Why are Summer and Layla still together as a unit? I could've sworn they parted ways weeks ago. Anyway, it still pains me to see how underutilized Emma has been as of late. Summer could be a strong heel Diva for the division if she and Layla weren't the second coming of LayCool.
Tyson Kidd def. Sin Cara
The clash of styles from these two competitors made for a very interesting and fun matchup. There was a lot of cool reversals and while most of the focus was on Kidd (and Natalya at ringside), Sin Cara had a nice showing as well. I was glad to see Kidd pick up another victory and it furthers his ongoing storyline with Natalya effectively. Kidd and Cara work well together, so I wouldn't mind seeing more from them at some point.
The Divas match was solid, and the Kidd vs. Cara match was fun while it lasted. The consistent quality of Superstars has picked up as of late and the latest episode continued that along nicely. Neither matches were worth going out of your way to see, but it's always a treat to see Emma and Kidd in action if you have the time.
