![]() By Graham "GSM" Matthews Sami Zayn def. Curtis Axel Zayn has been criminally underutilized since coming to Raw. What else is new? I'm so disappointed his program with Chris Jericho has apparently been cut short after Clash of Champions because they could have had more great matches together, but oh well. The crowd was hot for him here. He and Axel have worked together plenty of times in the past, so they have good in-ring chemistry and produced a solid match. While Zayn deserves so much more, this was a nice little Superstars match for what it was. Neville def. Jinder Mahal Similar to Zayn, Neville is another guy who would benefit greatly from a move to SmackDown. If he isn't going to be a part of the Cruiserweight division, then what's the point? Sadly, he isn't as over as Zayn, so the audience largely sat on their hands for this match with Mahal. It doesn't help that Mahal is as boring as watching paint dry, and the match might have overstayed its welcome by a few minutes. Overall Show
Although we've seen both bouts before, they were still far more entertaining than anything involving Darren Young and Titus O'Neil, so as a result, this was an above-average edition of Superstars. Granted, both Zayn and Neville should be regulars on Raw and not this program, but for the sake of this show, they enhanced my enjoyment of it with their appearances and performances.
