Tyler Breeze def. Austin TheoryTheory has impressed in every outing I've seen him have up to this point and this was no different. Breeze is the perfect person for him to be working with at this stage of his career, but it doesn't change how he lacks a compelling character and doesn't get as much mic time as he should. That needs to change soon. This was an entertaining opener, but I felt Breeze beating Theory was the wrong call. Killian Dain def. Tehuti MilesIf I recall correctly, it's been a while since Dain was last featured on NXT, so this was a nice way for him to get back on track. I've never even heard of Miles before, but I thought he fared well for himself here. This was a standard squash match for Dain that didn't last longer than it needed to. Dain deserves some direction, not fed to someone higher up on the totem pole on the brand.

Cody def. Jimmy HavocAlthough Havoc hasn't been seen on Dynamite in a while, he has been stacking up victories lately on Dark. They were building to a match between him and Luther before they had to start wrestling in front of no fans, so who knows if that's been called off or not. As for his outing with Cody, it was solid albeit slightly unspectacular. He didn't have the standout showing I was hoping for, but it was an enjoyable opener, nonetheless. I also liked Jake Roberts' promo on the big screen addressing Cody post-match. Darby allin def. Kip SabianAllin cut a promo beforehand targeting Inner Circle, so I'm happy he's involved in a prominent angle at the moment. He's a star on the rise and it's a shame he isn't receiving the loud crowd reactions we're used to hearing for him due to the lack of live crowds. This was a decent match and they worked well together, but Penelope Ford constantly interfering in Sabian's matches and Sabian losing anyway doesn't make him look good.
#AskGSM is a weekly Q&A video where I, Graham "GSM" Matthews, answer fan questions from Facebook, Twitter and YouTube in regards to the world of wrestling. Nothing is off limits, and this week’s edition touches upon a variety of topics including:
The Briscoes def. Jeff Cobb and Dan Maff(From my Bound by Honor review...) I wouldn't read too much into the commentators acknowledging Cobb's recent AEW appearance. Hell, Ian Riccaboni even mentioned Shelley wrestling for WWE during his match, so it's not like ROH and AEW are working together (at least not yet). At any rate, this match was fantastic. I had my reservations about Cobb and Maff teaming up early on, but they've been brilliant together so far, and you can never go wrong with The Briscoes. Cobb and Maff actually beat Lethal and Gresham in a non-title matchup at Free Enterprise, so I'm surprised The Briscoes beat them here. Considering Cobb was pinned, could ROH be preparing for the possibility of Cobb leaving for AEW eventually? Alex Shelley def. ROH World Six-Man Tag Team Champion Rey Horus(From my Bound by Honor review...) It's been so cool to see Shelley all over ROH programming, NXT and other independent promotions lately, and he came close to retiring from the ring two years ago! He's been killing it everywhere and he had another very fun match here with Horus. I don't think there was any reason for these two to be facing off, but the babyface vs. babyface dynamic didn't seem to be an issue as the crowd enjoyed the action, regardless. Shelley's victory gives him a momentum boost before he enters the upcoming ROH Pure Championship Tournament.
