Trent Seven def. Saxon Huxley
Seven is an established talent, whereas I know nothing about Huxley. However, this wasn't meant to be anything more than a glorified squash for Seven. The match lasted a little longer than I thought it would, but it was well-wrestled and Seven was able to showcase his skills. Plus, the crowd was super into Seven throughout. I could see Seven and Tyler Bate doing their own thing in singles competition until tag team titles are created and they chase those.
Flash Morgan Webster def. Mark Coffey
Morgan came to the aid of Mark Andrews last week against the Coffey brothers, so this was a logical next step in the feud. Morgan and Coffey had nice chemistry together and contested a real fun match for the time they were allotted. Although Webster was able to eek out the victory, the Coffey brothers attempted to attack him afterward, only for Andrews and Travis Banks to make the save.

#AskGSM is a weekly Q&A video where I, Graham "GSM" Matthews answer fan questions from Facebook, Twitter and YouTube in regards to the world of wrestling. Nothing is off limits, and this week’s edition touches upon a variety of topics including:
Trios Champions The Reptile Tribe def. Sammy Guevara, Ivelisse & XO Lishua and The Reptile Tribe in a Three-Way Tag Team Elimination Match
These trios matches tend to be a recurring highlight in Lucha Underground and this was no different as all three teams put forth an excellent effort and contested a highly entertaining affair. The elimination stipulation was a nice touch and this was all action from bell to bell. The Reptile Tribe remain the champions, so we'll who steps up in Season 5 as the next challengers.
Taya def. Ricky Mundo
Taya wanted revenge after Ricky ordered Matanza Cueto to wreck her wedding. This never had much potential to be an instant classic, so I was happy they took a simpler approach instead with Taya largely dominating Ricky and picking up the decisive victory. Afterward, she took it one step further by putting Ricky through a table, seemingly putting the rivalry to rest.
Nikki Cross def. Mercedes Martinez
I haven't heard anything about WWE signing Martinez (which is a shame considering all of the other talent NXT has since picked up from the first two installments of the Mae Young Classic), but it's cool she can still be brought in to have competitive matches on NXT TV such as this one. This was a pretty good match, and after Cross scored the win, she was confronted by Candice LeRae, who then had an intense face-off in the ring with Aleister Black. This was a successful segment all around.
The Street Profits def. The Mighty
These two teams have clashed on a handful of occasions over the past few months and all of their past encounters seemed to blend together (as well as who won), but this had way more energy and an urgency about it, which I liked a lot. The crowd was behind The Street Profits throughout and it was a really nice match on the whole. I'd say I'd hope that it isn't long before The Street Profits enter the NXT Tag Team Championship picture, but they recently won the EVOLVE Tag Team Championship, so they might be busy with those for a while. It'll be interesting to see if they bring the belts to NXT TV eventually.
The Brian Kendrick def. Gentleman Jack Gallagher
Kendrick and Gallagher have history working against each other from last year, so it was no surprise that was as good of a match as it was. They weren't given a ton of time, mind you, but it was nice while it lasted. I liked that Drew Gulak's interference was thwarted by Akira Tozawa, and now it appears Kendrick and Tozawa will be unlikely allies moving forward to combat Gulak and Gallagher.
Gran Metalik def. Local Athlete
Despite The Lucha House Party recently joining the Raw tag team division, it looks like (similar to Lio Rush and Drave Maverick) they'll continue to compete on 205 Live as well. This was your typical squash match with Metalik showcasing his skills and scoring the decisive victory. Lucha House Party have been embroiled in a feud with TJP over the past month, so TJP surfacing afterward and stealing Metalik's mask kept their storyline alive.
