oVe def. Drago and Aerostar by DisqualificationI liked this match kicking off the show because it had energy and a fun pace. It didn't last long, mind you, but all four guys worked well together. No, I wasn't fond of the finish, but it was understandable because it allowed the both teams to be protected in addition to furthering the feud between Eddie Edwards and Sami Callihan, which doesn't seem to end. However, I'm not complaining about that because it still feels like a hot program with Edwards slowly but surely slipping away into madness. Cult of Lee def. LAXAlthough it was odd for this to follow the tag team opener because they were so similar, I enjoyed this outing. These tandems have had good chemistry in the past and this was another entertaining encounter from them, even though the commercial break took up a majority of its time. LAX continue to lose without Konnan in their corner, while Cult of Lee desperately needed this victory.

TM61 def. Heavy MachineryThis was perfectly positioned as the opener to the episode with the crowd hot for the entertaining action and Heavy Machinery being super over as babyfaces. TM61 have also quickly settled into their role as slimy heels and I loved that they stole a second straight victory by resorting to underhanded tactics. I'd be up for more matches between these two teams because they work well together. Lacey Evans def. Kairi SaneIt's clear Evans is still a work in progress, but I thought she had one of her best showings to date in this match, and of course the fact Sane was her opponent helped tremendously. Sane dominated a majority of the matchup before Evans hit her finisher (which isn't the best but whatever) literally out of nowhere and picked up the huge victory. Needless to say, this feud will continue and thus it was wise to have Evans go over here.
#AskGSM Edition #234: SmackDown Live to FOX?, Awful Lashley Segment, Stephanie McMahon, More5/23/2018 #AskGSM is a weekly Q&A video where I, Graham "GSM" Matthews answer fan questions from Facebook, Twitter and YouTube in regards to the world of wrestling. Nothing is off limits, and this week’s edition touches upon a variety of topics including:
Jay LEthal def. Punishment MartiezMartinez selling the leg for a majority of the match wasn't exactly what I had in mind coming into this contest, but it turned out to be a real solid outing, nonetheless. Martinez tends to shine no matter who he shares a ring with and this was no different as he took Lethal to the limit and looked credible in defeat. Lethal won in decisive fashion, so I'm interested to see what's next for him in Ring of Honor. Shane Taylor vs. Joey "Diesel" Daddiego Ended in a No ContestTaylor has been on quite the tear lately, destroying everyone who has been put in front of him. As for Daddiego, he has apparently been off ROH TV for over a year (I honestly had no idea, I didn't even realize he had been gone) and was brought back to be fed to Taylor. It should be noted that he put up more of a fight than I expected him to, but Taylor came across like an unhinged monster in this match and was the real star.
