By Graham "GSM" Matthews Drew Galloway Called Out Ethan Carter III; Galloway and EC3 def. TNA World Heavyweight Champion Lashley and King of the Mountain Champion Eli Drake Galloway came off a bit whiny here as he has to know that EC3 unintentionally cost him the championship last week, so I wouldn't be surprised if this segment was designed to plant the seeds for a future turn for him. He, EC3, Lashley and even Drake all played their roles well. Although Drake seemed out of place among the top-tier talent, I liked the logic of Lashley choosing an undercard competitor as his partner because then he would have had an easy title defense. But did he expect to win this tag team match on his own? The babyfaces going over made sense in that it set up the Triple Threat title match for next week. World Tag Team Champions Decay Attacked Bram Well, this is a weird pairing. I guess it could have the potential to be interesting given Bram is just as crazy as Decay is, but I was really hoping Bram would move on to bigger and better things coming off his loss of the King of the Mountain Championship. I'm shocked TNA hasn't already done more with him as a singles star in TNA. I am curious as to who his partner could be. Perhaps Magnus struck a deal with TNA to return and reunite with his old ally?

By Graham "GSM" Matthews Enzo Amore and Big Cass def. The Ascension Enzo and Cass never cease to crack me up on the microphone, and it's a true testament to their talent when they can get an entertaining match out of The Ascension. It wasn't amazing by any means, but it was significantly better than your typical Ascension match because the crowd is always engaged in Enzo and Cass' offense. They continue to win over the masses in a major way and I still stay a potential clash between them and The New Day over the WWE Tag Team Championship at SummerSlam in Brooklyn would be money. Baron Corbin def. Sin Cara As a standard squash match, this was fine with Sin Cara doing a decent job of selling Corbin's power moves. But I can't blame the crowd for sitting on their hands for a majority of the match because they had zero incentive to get behind Sin Cara. He's been a punching bag for so long that it's hard to buy into the possibility of him winning anything meaningful. Hey, at least he didn't have any noticeable botches in this match! By Graham "GSM" Matthews Roman Reigns and Seth Rollins Confronted WWE World Heavyweight Champion Dean Ambrose I've said this time and time again, but Ambrose can get too cute with his comedy every so often. That isn't to say he's not funny, but I really hope that he develops a more aggressive edge during his stint as champion. Reigns telling the fans to shut up was the most heelish thing I've heard him say yet, though Rollins came off pretty whiny himself, so I'm interested to see if either of them end up turning soon. Everyone played their role in this segment well and the main event between Reigns and Rollins was set up nicely. Sami Zayn def. Kevin Owens I'm fairly certain at this point Zayn and Owens are essentially incapable of contesting a bad match against each other. Although I wished it would have been advertised in advance, I can't complain about another enjoyable encounter from them. This feud has been going longer than Dolph Ziggler vs. Baron Corbin yet hasn't grown stale. Amazing how consistent character development and feud progression can go such a long way. Their post-match brawl leads me to believe this feud is far from over, but I think we all already assumed that. #AskGSM Edition #134: WWE Money in the Bank 2016 Fallout, Dean Ambrose Becomes WWE Champion, More6/20/2016 By Graham "GSM" Matthews #AskGSM is a weekly Q&A video where I, Graham "GSM" Matthews (and special guest Jason Davis!), answer fan questions from Facebook, Twitter and YouTube in regards to the world of wrestling.
