TJP def. Lince DoradoWhile this was a fairly random match, it was very well-wrestled and featuring strong showings from both men. Dorado is an underrated competitor and isn't in singles action nearly as much as Kalisto and Gran Metalik, so I was glad he was given a chance to shine here. TJP, on the other hand, continues to have fun matches as a heel and I liked that he had to resort to underhanded tactics in order to beat Dorado. WWE Cruiserweight Champion Cedric Alexander def. Drew GulakAlexander and Gulak had an enjoyable encounter at SummerSlam, but I knew they were capable of so much more. Thus, it was awesome that they were allowed to go all out here and have an absolute barn-burner of a bout. Gulak is so methodical with everything he does but isn't at all boring, whereas Alexander's babyface comebacks never cease to get fans behind him. With their hard work and stellar performances, they took a rather lifeless crowd and made them come alive for the fantastic final stretch of this. Alexander now moves on to WWE Super Show-Down in early October to defend his title against Buddy Murphy.

#AskGSM is a weekly Q&A video where I, Graham "GSM" Matthews answer fan questions from Facebook, Twitter and YouTube in regards to the world of wrestling. Nothing is off limits, and this week’s edition touches upon a variety of topics including:
ROH World Champion Jay Lethal Agreed to Face Will Ospreay at Death Before DishonorLethal is such a fantastic fit as ROH World Champion right now, not only from an in-ring standpoint but also by how he carries himself as champ. He looks the part and his mic skills are certainly above average as well. He praised the hell out of Jonathan Gresham for their amazing Iron Man match from last week before shifting his focus to his next scheduled title defense at Death Before Dishonor. A poorly-produced video then revealed Ospreay to be his latest challenger, which I am in full favor of because that bout should be exceptional (though I highly doubt Ospreay will be taking the title). ROH Women of Honor World Champion Sumie Sakai def. Tasha Steelz in a Proving Ground Match (Non-title)For those unfamiliar, a Proving Ground match is basically where if the champion loses, they are forced to defend their title against their opponent at a later date. It was obvious Steelz wasn't winning, but she had a solid showing nonetheless and this turned out to be a nice little matchup. The post-match verbal exchange between Sakai and Tenille Dashwood wasn't the smoothest, but I appreciate the hype for their upcoming championship clash at Death Before Dishonor, if nothing else.
Braun Strowman and Ember Moon def. Kevin Owens and NatalyaPoor Owens. He got squashed by Strowman for months and even "quit" Raw (albeit for one week), but apparently that wasn't enough and he had to face off with his former foe again here. That aside, this was a good match and Moon filled in nicely for the injured Alexa Bliss nicely. I do hope we end up getting Team Little Big again if Bliss is cleared in time for the next matchup, but if not, Strowman and Moon have fine chemistry together. AJ Styles and Charlotte Flair def. Jimmy Uso and NaomiStyles and Flair are the perfect partners and gel very well character-wise, whereas Uso and Naomi are always a blast to watch because they're a couple in real life. This was a bit better than the previous match with all four stars having great showings and the intergender stuff was well done without going too overboard. It was definitely different than what you would see on any other WWE program, which is probably what I appreciated the most about it.
