By Graham "GSM" Matthews NXT Champion Finn Balor and Samoa Joe Signed the Contract For Their NXT TakeOver: London Match Contract signings are such a tired gimmick in wrestling this day and age that they need to stand out in a certain way in order to break away from the rest. That's what I loved most about this short and sweet segment. Joe showed up like he couldn't care less, signed the contract and walked off before returning to lay out Balor from behind. Awesome. The build for the NXT Championship match has been really well done so far and I'm pumped for Balor vs. Joe more than anything else in either WWE or NXT right now. NXT Tag Team Champions Dash and Dawson def. The Vaudevillians As I've said quite a bit in recent weeks, Dash and Dawson are quickly growing on me. They're such old school wrestlers and it's a total breath of fresh air. For whatever reason, this was a much better match than their initial encounter a few weeks back, perhaps because it took place so early in the tapings and the crowd was hot for it. Although I figured Dash and Dawson were retaining, the nearfalls down the stretch were suspenseful and had the crowd buying into them. It's cool to see Enzo Amore and Colin Cassady back in the fold and a match between them and the champs at the next special makes perfect sense from a storyline standpoint.

By Graham "GSM" Matthews Titus O'Neil def. Stardust by Count-out It's cool to see O'Neil finally getting a chance to showcase his skills as a singles competitor. I love The Prime Time Players to death, but there isn't much more for them to do at the moment with The Usos and The Lucha Dragons chasing the WWE Tag Team Championship. He and Stardust had a good match and it was logical to have Stardust lose via count-out considering it would have been foolish to have either guy get beat here. I'm still holding out hope for a Stardust vs. Goldust feud, but there was no indication of that here. Plus, if Darren Young is dealing with personal problems at the moment, then why is he on TV yet not wrestling (though he was in action on Monday's Raw)? I guess that's neither here nor there, just something I found interesting. Ryback def. Heath Slater Yes, it was a standard squash match, but I liked how it actually had storyline significance considering Ryback demolished Slater on Raw. I was also surprised Slater was able to score some offense against The Big Guy and wasn't totally annihilated. In the end, Ryback went over as he should have and I'm glad the bout was kept relatively short and sweet for the most part. By Graham "GSM" Matthews Roman Reigns Interrupted WWE World Heavyweight Champion Sheamus and The Authority Another Authority opening to Raw? What a surprise. On the bright side, Sheamus fared well in his first promo as champion, but I still can't shake the feeling that the guy is a glorified loser. It's going to take a lot more than a good promo for fans' perception of him to change. Reigns played his part well, but this segment made more excited for Reigns vs. Triple H down the line than Reigns vs. Sheamus at the TLC pay-per-view. Rusev's return was a pleasant surprise and I'm glad he seems to be finally moving away from being a comedy character. The Wyatt Family def. The Dudley Boyz This is a match I've been waiting to see since it was first teased on Twitter over the summer. I really wanted it to be the beginning of a long program between the two teams (and it still can be), but it looked more like a win for The Wyatt Family to help them bounce back from their loss at Survivor Series. If they won't be feuding with The Dudley Boyz, then I don't have the slightest idea what's next for the faction.
