NXT Cruiserweight Champion Jordan Devlin def. Amir JordanIt's cool that Devlin is still able to defend the Cruiserweight title. He was the original champion after all and I'm hoping he'll be able to travel soon so we can get him against Santos Escobar in a unification match on NXT. As for this outing, it was decent. Jordan wasn't a very compelling challenger for Devlin as there was zero reason to believe he was going to win, but it was well-wrestled while it lasted.

RETRIBUTION Attacked Gobbledy Gooker on Miz TV Hosted by The Miz and John MorrisonWhen was the last time Miz TV was held on Main Event? 2013? It was a nice get for Main Event, which rarely if ever features storyline development, and I appreciated that Mustafa Ali got to explain why the rest of RETRIBUTION look the way and have the names they do. He said something similar on Raw Talk about a month ago. I realize the same amount of people probably watch Raw Talk that watch Main Event, but I'm glad he had the chance to cut that promo again. The rest of the segment was weird with R-Truth and Gobbledy Gooker running down to the ring and Gooker being laid out by RETRIBUTION. Hey, at least it wasn't Mr. Money in the Bank taking the beating.
"Hangman" Adam Page def. John SilverThe outcome was obviously never in doubt, but much like at Full Gear, this was important in allowing Silver to have a breakout performance and I thought he did just that once again. Page was the perfect opponent for him and they worked very well together. It was also a smart choice as the opener as it set the tone for the rest of the night nicely. However, The Dark Order extending an offer to Page feels like old news because they've been teasing it on and off for over a year now and it's not going to happen nor should it.
Candice LeRae def. Ember MoonMoon has been killing it since returning to NXT last month and this was another top-notch match from her. LeRae is obviously super talented as well and thus this was a superb opening match. LeRae needed the victory more and Moon doesn't lose much in defeat. Afterward, Toni Storm seemed to come to Moon's aid against the heels, only to attack her instead and turn heel. Although I didn't see it coming, it actually makes perfect sense because she can say she's felt Moon's return overshadowed her own. It's also the right call because she needed some sort of a spark and this could be it.
