Yoshi Tatsu def. Shelton BenjaminThis was Tatsu's official debut on WWE TV as well as Benjamin's first bout back on ECW in over a year. Tatsu was one of the few wrestlers that was introduced on the ECW brand as part of then-general manager Tiffany's New Superstar Initiative and he made an immediate impact by beating Benjamin in his debut. This wasn't much of a match at all, as Benjamin spent most of it mocking Tatsu's Japanese mannerisms, but it was a big win for Tatsu, nonetheless. Abraham Washington Hosted The Abraham Washington Show with The Bella TwinsGood lord, I vividly remember The Abraham Washington Show and how horrible it was. Props to Washington for attempting to make the most of what he was given, but he was incredibly annoying more often than not and I can't recall a single installment that got anyone over. Hell, look no farther than this segment for proof. Washington interrogated Brie and Nikki the entire time about who was the smarter one of the two as well as who had their first kiss first and nonsense like that. In other words, it was a complete waste of time.

WWE Champion John Cena Called Out Mr. McMahonOne week earlier, CM Punk cut his famous "pipebomb" promo and was immediately "suspended" by the company, effectively calling off his scheduled WWE Championship match with Cena at Money in the Bank. Cena cut a promo here basically demanding McMahon to reinstate Punk so they could have their matchup. It was a logical open to the show that set up McMahon's appearance for later in the night. Divas Champion Kelly Kelly and Eve Torres def. The Bella TwinsKelly and Eve were feuding with Nikki and Brie at the time and Kelly wound up facing Brie in a rematch for the Divas Championship at Money in the Bank. Kelly won this match as well as the week prior, so it was nice to see her booked to look strong in her first few weeks as champion, but it did nothing to make the Bellas look like a threat. This was surprisingly better than I thought it would be. It was serviceable and all four ladies held their own.
D-Generation X Interrupted The CorporationDays earlier on Raw, Chyna betrayed DX and joined The Corporation. She explained her actions here, only for DX to interrupt her and throw insults her way. It was an entertaining verbal exchange (by Attitude Era standards) on the whole that also successfully furthered two other feuds: Shane McMahon vs. X-Pac and Triple H vs. Kane. It was a solid segment, even if it wasn't my cup of tea. Big Boss Man def. World Tag Team Champion Jeff JarrettJarrett and Hart beat Boss Man and Shamrock for the tag team titles around this time, so this was Boss Man and Shamrock's chance to bounce back with wins in singles competition against the champs. It made sense from a storyline standpoint, but unfortunately, neither match was worth writing home about. This bout in particular died a death and the crowd couldn't have cared less. If nothing else, it was over relatively quickly.
Fenix def. Big Ryck, Drago, Pentagon Jr., El Mariachi Loco, Super Fly, King Cueto, Son of Havoc, Mascarita Sagrada and Prince Puma in a 10-Way MatchDario Cueto announced that the winners of the two multi-person matches on this show would be in line for a "unique opportunity," which wouldn't be revealed until later on. Whoever scored the first fall in this match would be declared the victor, so it was all action from bell to bell and the nearfalls were quick and chaotic. It was only a handful of competitors in the ring at one time, but that was probably for the best to prevent this from becoming a mess. Sure, everything looked/felt choreographed, but it was insanely fun, nonetheless. Mil Muertes Won a 10-Man Battle RoyalThis Battle Royal consisted of the rest of the roster that wasn't involved in the opener including Muertes, Johnny Mundo, the entire Crenshaw Crew, Sexy Star, Pimpinela Escarlata, Chavo Guerrero, Famous B and Ricky Mandel. Star and Chavo have been embroiled in a heated rivalry for weeks, so they were able to further their feud here, and the same can be said for Mundo and The Crenshaw Crew. The order of eliminations was logical and I liked how Mundo put up enough of a fight before finally losing to Muertes, who continues to steamroll through everyone. This was a decent Battle Royal otherwise.
