Gran Metalik def. The Brian Kendrick
Well, after a string of consecutive Raw and 205 Live appearances, it looks like Metalik is back to being a Main Event regular, which is a shame considering his talent. He works well with the entire Cruiserweight division, but Kendrick has a special knack for making everyone he's in the ring with look good, so Metalik was allowed to shine here and even pick up the surprising victory. They put together a very nice match that I wish more people would have seen on Raw or 205 Live.
Apollo Crews def. Curt Hawkins
Crews and Hawkins have had their fair share of matches against each other over the last year, so while this wasn't anything we haven't already seen from them before, it was fine for what it was and didn't overstay its welcome. Hawkins has more of a direction with his lengthy losing streak than Crews does at this point, which is pretty sad to be honest. WWE really needs to figure out what they're going to do with Crews to ensure he doesn't continue to flounder.
Some of the Raw recaps covering the fallout from Survivor Series were worth watching back again, and the two featured matches were well-wrestled and enjoyable while they lasted. As noted, Crews vs. Hawkins was a rather basic bout that we've seen many times in the past, but at least Metalik vs. Kendrick was something fresh and a cool showcase for the both of them.
