Natalya def. Sarah Logan
Logan's new look makes her look like one of those hippies from Once Upon a Time in Hollywood who has taken a shower in at least a week. In short, I'm not a fan of whatever this gimmick is supposed to be. Natalya doesn't interest me much, either, so I can't say I found this match terribly exciting. It was well wrestled and I liked Logan's intensity, but it was a fairly basic bout otherwise. I assume both of these ladies will go back to trading victories on Main Event now that Survivor Series season is over.
No Way Jose def. Eric Young
Young's pink gear was... interesting. Nothing against the color pink, but it felt like a weird fit for Young, unless he was paying tribute to his fellow Canadian Bret Hart. At any rate, I didn't have high hopes for this, but they wound up surprising me by producing a fun little match. The crowd was into it and they made the most of the time they had. Jose's victory won't amount to anything, of course, but I appreciated that they exceeded expectations.
This edition of Main Event featured all the fallout from Survivor Series as well as Monday's Raw, two shows I thoroughly enjoyed. Personally, I didn't watch the recaps, but in case you missed anything from either event, this might be a good show for you to check out. Meanwhile, the two featured matches are far from must-see and Natalya vs. Logan was mediocre, but at least Young vs. Jose wasn't a complete waste as I thought it would be.
