Finn Balor and Sasha Banks def. Shinsuke Nakamura and Natalya in a First Round Match
These were two terrific pairings and the perfect match to kick off the tournament with because it was an entertaining outing as expected. It isn't often we see mixed tag team matches in WWE these days, so this was a refreshing change. The in-ring action was a treat and Balor and Nakamura going up against each other was especially enjoyable. The right team went over and I'm glad Natalya was the one who got pinned, not Nakamura.
If you haven't tried out Facebook Watch yet, it's really quite easy, and the quality was excellent, so that was a pleasant surprise. I constantly complain about WWE having too much content, but as a short-lived series (for great causes, no less), this could be a ton of fun. I appreciated the different approach the show took with Renee Young and Byron Saxton serving as ringside interviews, and with only one match, the program didn't overstay its welcome. Plus, the crowd was hotter for this than anything I've seen on 205 Live in nearly a year, but I figured that would be the case, anyway.
