Sin Cara def. Curtis Axel
As I've always said, while Axel has zero personality, he's a very good wrestler and that was evident here in his match with Cara. The crowd hasn't cared for the Cara character for some time, but the England crowd was more invested in the action than most other crowds would be because... well, it's England. It was a well wrestled match, but it may not have been smart to have Axel lose only one week removed from returning.
Big E def. Heath Slater
It was funny just how over Slater was with the England audience, more so than Big E. They must have grown to like him after he (along with the rest of 3MB) portrayed a babyface the last few times they've been in England. I expected a full-on squash for Big E, but Slater actually put up a good fight against the former Intercontinental champion and the live crowd enjoyed it. It wasn't an instant classic by any means, but it was a much more fun match than I expected going in.
Both featured were decent, but they would have died a death anywhere else but in England. The live crowds there are always electric for any kind of wrestling, Superstars included. They didn't make this a must-see show, but if you do tune in, you're in for an enjoyable hour (or 15 minutes if you don't count the Raw recaps) of action.
