Damon Kemp def. Ikemen JiroKemp is coming off three straight losses to Eddy Thorpe on NXT TV, so this allowed him to get back on track. Jiro was a logical person for him to work with because he's a big fan favorite and could sell really well for Kemp's offense. This was mostly a quality contest, but it seemed like they didn't click at certain points and the finish did not look great. Jiro almost landed badly on his neck, so hopefully Kemp can clean up that suplex finisher in the future if he's going to continue doing it.

Undisputed WWE Universal Champion Roman Reigns and Jey Uso Went Face-to-FaceThis was a definite improvement over last week's "Rules of Engagement" segment. Reigns questioned why Jey would think he could beat him, only for Jey to tell him he pinned him at Money in the Bank and he'll do it again at SummerSlam. It was what it needed to be and effectively set the stage for the SummerSlam main event. On a side note, it was teased that "Tribal Combat" at SummerSlam will essentially be a No Disqualification match, but the commentators clarified it here.
Impact Knockouts World Champion Trinity and Dani Luna def. The CovenI must have missed something because I have absolutely no idea why this match happened. Trinity and Luna have never been aligned to my knowledge and Trinity hasn't had an issue with The Coven in at least a month or two. Trinity cutting a promo about her title win would have been more effective. It was a well-worked opener, though. Deonna Purrazzo came out afterward to inform Trinity that she'll be invoking her rematch clause for the championship at Emergence.
MLW World Tag Team Champion Rickey Shane Page def. Matthew JusticeI'd say it looks like we're headed toward Second Gear Crew challenging The Calling for the MLW World Tag Team Championship, but it was announced later in the episode that a member of Second Gear Crew will face Matt Cardona at Fury Road. Maybe the two remaining members can get the title shot? It may not matter because Justice lost here, so we'll see. I don't care for The Calling, but this was a solid opener. I don't believe this was billed as a Hardcore match, but there were weapons at ringside and they brought a ladder into the ring at the end.
